Inspired by the beauty I experienced and the photographs I took during my trips to Africa, Antartica, and Iceland in 2018 and 2019, I decided in January of 2020 to focus on becoming a significantly better photographer. Those who know me know that I have a fondness for gear in things that I do. While improving my camera and lenses was far from the most important step towards improving my photography, it was where I started. In January, I purchased the Sony A7R4, a full frame digital camera along with a set of lenses. In early February, a friend invited me to his place in Steamboat Springs Colorado. Having just received my new camera, this was my first time trying it out. Below are 15 landscape photos from my first trip with my new camera.
