Day 4: Through the Mojave Desert

Today we rode through the Mojave Dessert.

The day started with a lovely sunrise.

Unlike yesterday, where we had some terrible roads, the pavement today was generally great.

The landscape was consistently stunning. Here is a panorama I took at one of our water stops.

Lunch was at a set of graffiti covered rocks.

We completed our century in the town of Twentynine Palms.

Here is a sunset photo of my accommodations for tonight. Tomorrow we bike 114 miles to the Colorado River then cross a bridge into Palmer Arizona.
